I had been working with bearded collies for ten years before i started looking for another breed.
The choice easily fell  on the showdogs named:

American cocker spaniel...

Shortly after my desicion, I bought my first AC (american cocker) from "kennel  Collcock".
He was named "Rocky" -short for Collcock`s Rock'n'Roll.
He and I had  much fun in the show-ring. He got  ten certificates before he got his titles.
And he didn't stop after becoming norwegian champion, he also got his swedish and finnish title
-and ended his career as Nordic champion!
Today he lives life in the contryside short haired and lovely.

And of course it was not enough with only one AC...
The summer before Rocky became 2 years old, I contacted Kari Granaas Hansen at
Kennel Carillo wanting to buy  a buff bitch.
The only criteria was that it should be as light buff as possible.
Short time after "Disco" (Carillo Ava Adore)  came to me -the worlds most lovly little creature.
She has had an amazing career:
She got a total of 13 cacib before her title "international" was aproved!
She was the mostwinning bitch in Norway '01 and shared 1st place '02.
The year of 2001 she got 1st place in the "most winning spaniel" list
-gainng  the title: "spaniel of the year 2001".

Third in line of my AC`s is my own-bred:
N. Fin Ch. La-Faja`s Standing Ovation,
"Proffen" among friends!
He is son of "Disco" and his proud father is "Lasse".
Better known as Int. Nord. DK. Ch Kbhv-00 og NV-00-01 Carillo Applause.
 "Proffen" was born in August 2000 - he got his champion title at NKK`s dogshow in Narvik April 2003.
This after achieving a total of 10 national-certificates.
I'm extra proud of him as he is my own "product"..
 "Proffen" now has a lovely home at Hundhammeren, he is also short haired....

The summer of 2002 my wish of a particolored bitch came true.
I was on a visit in the home of Kari and Jan when i saw the puppy "Jo-Jo" and fell in love with her.
She came to me august the same year. She is to bee seen in the showring under the name:
Carillo Awesome Effect.
She is now living in Tomter.

 The summer of 2003 "Disco" gave birth for the second time,
of those puppies i kept "Junior" short for La-Fajas Discotheque - a buff boy.
N.Uch KK's Kato Kool N Kolorfull, "Kato" is his father.
"Junior" is now living in Mjøndalen.

Between mars\april 2004 "Disco" got mated for the last time.
With Multi Champion Truly Yours Regency, "Reggy".
-From this litter I kept to bitches. L-F's Truly Madly Deeply, "Hanna" and L-F's Truly Adored, "Bianca".

Hanna stayed with me, and Bianca went to live with Unni and Willy. Hanna became International champion October 2007. With great help from Sanna!

Hanna moved to Lisbeth and her family at Hundhammeren summer 2008. She is enjoying her life as a family dog.

I got my third Carillo bitch Ocktober 2006, she's called Carillo Amaze Me. In daily life; Pernille. She is red/white and absolutely particolour in all sens of the words. I've never had a dog so full of mischief... She now only needs one national certificate to become champion...

At the moment I have Pernille and Tchawe living with me. Tchawe is from Jo-Jo's last litter. His name is La-Faja's Delaware.  His father is American champion Perje's Pulp Fiction, "John-John".
